BFD's Mock 1.0
Its time.....
1. Rams- Sam Bradford, QB, Oklahoma: This franchise is rebuilding and they need a QB to become the face of the franchise. I think they have other needs but I don’t think they feel they can pass on another top flight QB. 2. Lions- Ndamukong Suh, DT, Nebraska: Lions can add another piece to their defensive line by drafting Suh here. He’s a beast and a solid selection for #2 money as well. 3. Buccaneers- Russell Okung, OT, Ok St: While Gerald McCoy or Eric Berry will be hard to pass up here, the need for the Bucs to get some help on their offensive line should be high priority. Okung is a stud that should be on the field at LT from day 1. 4. Redskins- Gerald McCoy, DT, Oklahoma: I know they need OT or QB in a big way but defense wins championships. Who’s going to be able to run on the Redskins with Haynesworth and McCoy in the middle of that line? 5. Chiefs- Eric Berry, S, Tennessee: The Chiefs have a lot of holes to fill on both sides of the ball. Adding a guy like Berry in centerfield is a great start. 6. Seahawks- Trent Williams, OT, Oklahoma: This should be their #1 priority should be fixing their offensive line. They have two picks in the top 15 and it could be justified if they used both on lineman, that’s how bad it is. At this point they should have strong interest in Clausen but they have an opportunity to trade up if they see him sliding. 7. Browns- Dez Bryant, WR, Ok St: This team has so many glaring weaknesses its no wonder they had to bring in Holmgren to turn it around. One thing is for sure and that’s they need to give one of their QBs all the opportunity to be successful. They could easily go DL or CB here too so there is no telling what they will do. 8. Raiders- Anthony Davis, OT, Rutgers: Who knows what Al Davis will do here. They need better pass protection if they want DHB and Russell to excel. Maybe we see Clausen come off the board here and Al Davis goes berserk, who knows. Can you say physical freak Taylor Mays? 9. Bills- Bryan Bulaga, OT, Iowa: The Bills have a slew of young QB prospects and a glaring hole in their offensive line. Bulaga is a great option to start from day 1 and give a young QB a chance. Clausen will be tempting for them to pass on for sure. 10. Jaguars- Joe Haden, CB, Florida: With Dez Bryant off the board the Jaguars should look to fill a void on defense. They would have Haden and McClain to choose from and Haden edges McClain by a small margin in my book. 11. Broncos- Jimmy Clausen, QB, Notre Dame: McDaniels has a capable QB to drive the car for now in Orton. Clausen has an NFL arm and has played in a similar system of McDaniels. He’s a perfect fit here. 12. Dolphins- Dan Williams, DT, Tennessee: They need to go ILB or DT here. I think the DT gets the nod now that they signed Dnasby. 13. 49ers- Rolando McClain, ILB, Alabama: Instead of going with a project they go with a day 1 starter. Spikes is up there in age and could be replaced or cut with a prospect like McClain available. 14. Seahawks- CJ Spiller, RB, Clemson: They need a playmaker in the backfield and special teams, insert CJ Spiller. 15. Giants- Sergio Kindle, OLB, Texas: It will be tempting to go after Morgan here but Kindle at OLB is more of a need for the Giants. I think they still believe in their D-Line at this point enough not to waste a 1st rounder on replacements. 16. 49ers- Jason Pierre- Paul, DE, South Florida: His ability to play the OLB in a 3-4 will be a nice fit for the 49ers to work with. They could be potentially building one of the most stout defenses in the game with this pick. 17. Titans- Derrick Morgan, DE, Ga Tech: The Titans need some help on the D-Line. Morgan is probably the best fit for them and should go off the board here. 18. Steelers- Maurkice Pouncey, G/C, Florida: They could be deciding between some inside OL help or a new safety. My guess is they will take care of Big Ben and get him a versatile player in Pouncey to fill in a void. 19. Falcons- Earl Thomas, S, Texas: The Falcons need to address their secondary in any way they can. I think Thomas is the best prospect available for CB or S. 20. Texans- Carlos Dunlap, DE, Florida: They need secondary help, but any secondary can be helped by Super Mario on one end and Dunlap on the other. 21. Bengals- Kyle Wilson, CB, Boise St: They need help in the secondary and Kyle Wilson is a great addition to be able to help out right away. 22. Patriots- Brian Price, DT, UCLA: There was huge speculation the Patriots were going after Peppers mostly because they need help all over the D-Line. Price is a great replacement for Richard Seymour who was traded to Oakland last season. 23. Packers- Mike Iupati, G, Idaho: O-Line is a big concern for the Packers. While they could use a DE here, Iupati has better value for them and is needed just as much. 24. Eagles- Taylor Mays, S, USC: He could possibly go higher but the Eagles cant pass on him here. They need safety help and while Mays has been exposed in pass coverage, he will still be a great addition. 25. Ravens- Sean Weatherspoon, OLB, Missouri: Linebacker is clearly a position they need to address and with Ray Lewis still here and the leader of the team they look at OLB here. 26. Cardinals- Brandon Spikes, ILB, Florida: Dansby is gone and they need a replacment. Spikes would be a great fit and talent here for the Cardinals. 27. Cowboys- Bruce Campbell, OT, Maryland: This is the #1 need for Dallas to address in the offseason. The only question here is selecting a prospect they like which with Pouncey and Iupati off the board it could be Campbell. 28. Chargers- Ryan Matthews, RB, Fresno St: The only glaring need the Chargers have is RB position. Matthews has emerged as the best downhill runner to split time with Sproles. Something tells me they will make a move for a veteran somewhere, but if not this should be their play. 29. Jets- Brandon LaFell, WR, LSU: He is the 2nd best WR in this draft according to myself. Its weird to say that the Jets don’t have any glaring holes other than the QB position. Giving Sanchez a reliable target could help him improve quicker. 30. Vikings- Jared Odrick, DT, Penn St: This should help solidify the aging DT position on the Vikings. They could also look at Jahvid Best to replace Chester Taylor, rumor has it Percy Harvin will get reps at RB too. 31. Colts- Patrick Robinson, CB, Fla St: They still need secondary help as it seems that way every year. There is a slew of prospects that could go in this position. 32. Saints- Brandon Graham, OLB, Michigan: With the departure of Fujita they can look at a number of OLB prospects to replace him. Graham is the best of the rest. Comments encourage, no hijacking....

I think with Ferguson getting 8 games today Dolphins have to go after a nose guard for sure although wouldn't surprise if they try and trade down for more picks. Nice job BFD

id be very surprised if brondon spikes goes int eh 1st round
on another gator note, how awesome would the texans pass rush be with dunlap on one end and mario williams on the other only conceren with dunlap is maturity and focus, has the physical capibility to be just as good if not better than williams

thanks Jack. When Parcells was in Dallas he LOVED Marcus Spears. One of the scouts on the radio, Brian Brotus, said that when the Cowboys decided to pass on him and take Demarcus Ware Parcells pouted. He later got his man in Spears 6 picks later (or something like that). I honestly wouldnt be suprised to see Spears go to Miami for a 2nd rounder, but for now I'm sure yall will draft a DT.

i dunno rome, spikes apparently is killing it and was already thought of as 1st round lock last year when opteds to go back to school. The guy is a talent for sure.... Dunlap could be such a stud, he's going to be a steal if he gets focused.

I disagree with the Broncos, BFD. I really think they'll address defense more, and that McClain kid would be a great addition for them. The ND fan in me of course would LOVE to see Claussen in Denver, but I don't know if QB is priority #1.

spikes refused to run the 40 for a reason, the truth will come out in the pro day in gainesville
I knew he wasnt much of a pass coverage LB nor sideline to sideline and it might be worse, would take a dumb organization to take him in the 1st talent, ball skills and instincts, yes, nfl 3rd down speed, no Dunlap is easily a better DE prospect and draft pick than Pierre-Paul and Morgan both if his head was on straight, 6ft6 290, and fast, just sick
