isnt that bigger than Tom Brady's? wow...Rivers ur not getting anything close to that, so tell ur agent to forget about that right now

believe me I think he's a great qb, but that is one big ass contract and he's not the most valuable player on the team. I think that is way over-priced for Ben...I even thought Romo's was way way too high as well

YOI!!!!!!.... Double YOI...... Look at the state of starting QB's in the NFL.. Good investment over the long haul if he stays healthy.. Good QB's are rare these days.. The days of winning with a average QB are over IMO with the new rules benefiting the air game.. Have to disagree RJB ... Ben is by far their MVP..... RB's .... WR's are a dime a dozen compared to good QB's... Get used to the big money QB contracts ...

believe it or not...ben's contract has a lot to do with SD and Rivers, because they both had same length rookie contracts and agents use other similar type players to get their own guys deals. but there is no way sd is crazy enough to spend that ridiculous amount on a qb

LOL, Rivers isn't in the same class as Ben. Ben may not be worth this contract but Rivers isn't worth half this amount of money.

why is that? Rivers about the same regular season record as a starter at this point in their careers, nearly same td/int ratio, equal leadership...exactly why are they not the same class? cuz ben won a title throwing 8/20? impressed really...i am. do you get a bonus for being dumb and crashing motorcycles? cuz that would probably equate to about 50 mil
