Don't consider length of injury here.........Who is NEEDED the most to better their team.

I think Urlacher is needed most.

Steeler D will be fine. Chicago... not so sure about.

i actually think this is a good thread and hopefully will generate some good discussion

i think urlacher has lost a step and isn't the player he once was - but the bears still need his leadership out on the field

troy is just a beast lol

I do not think the Chicago D was going to be that great even with Urlacher, a bit overrated IMO. Troy is an adsolute stud, and you can never replace a guy like him, but that D does have alot in other places. Urlacher will be missed, but that D was going to be middle of the pack IMO. Pitt will still be near the top even losing Troy.

Pitt 6-2 ( pretty much status quo) when Troy P. does not start due to injury.. Carter is a very good replacement (not Troy but who is but he is a starter for many NFL teams ).. Without Troy the Titans put up 3 in the 2nd half after regrouping.. Cant recall exact Bears record without Urlacher but it aint good.. Line stinks this week IMO..

briggs better than urlacher but when urlacher is 100% they miss him dearly. think steelers are a deeper team than the bears on defense, which is fairly obvious

that being said, i still voted for troy because he's head and shoulders the best at his position in football and can turn a game around in a heartbeat

true but what QBs were you facing

and what QBs potentially are you facing during this 3-6 week injury

IMO Troy will be missed in pass coverage more then run stoppage this time around

also, i have a feeling the "overrated" stamp on urlacher comes from what most people read on the internet, not from what they see

he led the team in tackles last year yet again and is PHENOMENAL in coverage because of his speed

no he's not the same player he was 5 years ago but he's still a top tier MLB and you really can't put a price tag on those in the NFL
