Bills play in Toronto on Dec. 7

NEW YORK (AP)—The Buffalo Bills will play in Toronto on Dec. 7 against Miami as part of an effort to expand their market to Canada.
This marks the first time the Bills will play during the regular season in Toronto, about a 1 1/2 -hour drive from Buffalo. The game was one of the highlights of the NFL schedule released Tuesday.
The season opens Sept. 4 with Washington at the Super Bowl champion New York Giants, a game already announced along with three others from the opening weekend: Chicago at Indianapolis on Sunday night, Sept. 7, and two games Monday night, Sept 8: Minnesota at Green Bay and Denver at Oakland.
For the second consecutive year, a regular-season game will be played in London at Wembley Stadium, with New Orleans the “home” team against San Diego on Oct. 26. The Dolphins and Giants played there last season.

New England, which was upset in the Super Bowl by the Giants but has a record 19-game regular-season winning streak, will open at home against Kansas City on Sept. 7. In what has become an annual highlight game, Tom Brady and the Patriots will be at Peyton Manning and the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday night, Nov. 2.
In the three Thanksgiving games, Tennessee will be at Detroit, Seattle at Dallas and Arizona at Philadelphia in the night game televised by the NFL Network.
The NFL Network games, in their third season, will start earlier this season with Denver at Cleveland on Thursday, November 6. In all, there will be eight, but no Saturday night game on the final weekend when last year the Patriots finished an unbeaten regular season by beating the Giants 38-35 in a contest that also was shown by NBC and CBS because the NFL Network’s dispute with major cable systems limited its availability.
The other NFL Network games are all on Thursday nights except for Saturday, Dec. 20, when Baltimore is at Dallas.

Listeneing to the Buffalo radio station yesterday and the fans are ANGRY as hell. Wondering if the Miami fans are angry as well considering this would be 2 years in a row that their games are played abroad.

Might as well be

Funny thing people here in Toronto think this is the opening of the door to get an NFL team here in Toronto and really all it has done is sunk Torontos chances even more(if there ever were a chance, which I personally don't believe there ever was one) of landing an NFL team unless it is the Bills, because now in future if the city of Toronto ever could lure a team the Bills will claim territorial rights of Toronto being part of their marketplace. It now looks like if Toronto was ever to get a team it would have to be the Bills or nothing else with this little arrangement that has been made.

The whole experience for Toronto Fans going To Bills games
is for the tailgating...

Get up at 7- get to stadium at 9, 9.30

start cooking burgers , sausages , etc.
drink drink drink before entering stadium ...

Takes most of the fun out of watching the game having to go to
a bar with your buds ,
$ 5 a beer x 6 or 8 plus another $ 20-30 for food
then go to stadium and watch the game
in Toronto ...

Specially at avg $ 250 ticket price.
More beer and food at stdium you're looking at a $ 350 day to watch the Bills and Dolphins - looolool

Tell me sports people in Toronto have tooo much $
when 100,000 people have signed up for the ticket lottery of about
$ 50,000

when the average Bills ticket is around $ 50 -$ 70 ...

must be Leaf fans tired of watching them lose or something ...

I am going to assume it is because of who was left on the Bills schedule at that time of the year. Part of the deal of bringing this game to Toronto was it had to be done after the Grey Cup, and if I remember correctly by the Bills schedule there was only 3 games left on their schedule after the Grey Cup at home. One being the Fish, another one was a Monday nighter against Cleveland(and you know they didn't want the Fish on Monday night, lol!) and lastly the Pats, and I am pretty sure the Bills had zero interest in coming up to Toronto to hopefully attract more fans and have their asses handed to them in Toronto. I would guess the Fish were the chosen one, because one there wasn't much option other than them, and two the Bills would like to play a team where there chances of winning that game and hopefully attracting more fans from the Toronto area would not be guaranteed but highly likely that they could win, and really the Fish fit that bill.

I guess you could look at it this way. Miami is the worst that the NFL has to offer. If you enjoy the game, just imagine how much fun you will have if two good teams play.
