Who are you? Seal? Seth: Fogell, this ID says that you're 25 years old. Why wouldn't you just put 21, man? Fogell: Seth, Seth, Seth. Listen up, ass-face: every day, hundreds of kids go into the liquor store with fake IDs, and every single one says they're 21. Pssh, how many 21 year olds do you think there are in this town? It's called f*cking strategy, alright? |

Just saw this on Rotoworld: Citing a league source, Newsday's Tom Rock reports there has been no contact between the Giants and Cardinals regarding Anquan Boldin. There are conflicting reports regarding the Cardinals "actively shopping" Boldin, but it's safe to assume the Giants would be one of the teams on GM Rod Graves' list if he was looking to deal. This report suggests Graves hasn't been so active after all. Source: Newsday

something is going on Keith AZ is trying to keep it quiet but noone else has to be quiet. If the Giants are offering what the said I dont see how they could turn it down and he is better than Plax. Iggles have a ton of draft pix 2 first rounders and if they traded both of them this year I would be fine with it as they are 21 and 28 in the draft and still have a shitload left. I wouldnt give up next years 1 as the Giants were supposedly offering.

two firsts and a third is a lot. Boldin IMO is one of the top receivers in this league. He can play short and deep.
I think a first and a third is fair. |

PhillyBirds20 is right. Every off-season Philly fans go through this. The team is close to winning, but always under the cap (last year reportedly by about $10 million but Joe Banner claims they spend it all). Would spending that extra $10 million last year have given them that extra player or two to have actually gone to or won the Super Bowl? We'll never know. And it has happened repeatedly. I don't think the level-headed fans mind them re-tooling and making tough decisions, even Dawkins, but they never make up for it by going above and beyond to make up the difference.
Now they are 30 something under (Banner claims they are not). The fact is this team only has a few needs- a top WR, young RB, fullback, TE, and hoping that the safety(ies) they brought in to "replace" Dawkins are adequate to go along with Q. And it looks like they may grab the FB from Seattle. Like Philly said, they trade their first-rounders anyway, so for me would I rather go into next year with Boldin or with the them drafting an offensive lineman with their first 1st-rounder, maybe a McCoy with their second 1st-rounder and whoever with the 3rd-round pick? For me, give me Boldin, and they still have some good picks left to address the RB and TE positions (maybe trade up the 2nd-rounder with other picks and still get a McCoy). And I still don't believe that the offer would have to be that high, specifically given that part of the trade would hinge on the team trading for him being able to have some guidelines on a long term contract. The odds of this happening? Zero. So sorry for wasting everyone's time. |
