book mistake in my favor

going to bills packers preseason game tonight, (wearing favre jersey of course) and I went to place my bet for the game at youwager.com

the packers were -3 for -120, and the bills were +3 for +100

but the money line was packers +150 and bills -170...

obviously these were switched, but I placed my $90 bet to win 135 and it went through,

so they would have to honor this wager correct, even though it was an obvious mistaken line?

I'm hoping this is a book error in my favor collect $135 dollars

Are you practicing to be a stand up comedian with that line?

Umm the answer is not they don't have to honor this wager and probably won't honor this wager, but it has happened in the past that a book will still pay it out from what I hear(now I will say I have never had a mistaken line paid out but I have read from people in here who say they have)

If only we could go back to your first day gambling, drinking and overeating we could change the future and actually make you a functioning member of society

logged into my account this morning and was informed that the game had been voided due to erroneous line.

I called in and was bounced around to various departments where I explained that they had already accepted the wager and that it was not my fault they made a mistake. I was basically told that they didn't give a shit. So I told them I was going to cancel my account, and they told me they would send me a check for my balance but would have to charge me $55 for vendor fees. I said why does it cost $55 to send a check? He repeated vendor fees. So I said just send me the ****ing money.

All I can say is never bet with Youwager.com

I'm hoping they at least send me my account balance.

come on dude - you knowingly placed a bet on what you knew was a mistake.

Ya placed a $90 bet, when if you would've called them right away and said "ya know, I think you have this line backwards" they probably would've given you a free play for pointing out the mistake.

But instead you try to rip off the book, and then get mad when they do it back to you...

why do you feel like your owed the money? it was obviously a mistake so they voided the wager which is the right thing to do. The fact that your calling in and bitching just makes you another obnoxious customer and represents what is wrong with the world.

how is it me ripping off the book when they accepted the wager? I'm sure it wouldn't have been scrapped if the packers had lost? Or if I had taken the Bills ML for -170?

I understand its only $90 but it is the principle

and the $55 vendor fee for cashing out is bull shit
