Bookie numbers

A buddy of mine books a lot of action. He also seems to know the right side of a lot of games. Everytime he tells me a certain team will win it always does.

One thing he mentioned is he will never play against certain numbers and I'm wondering what you think about this. He's not saying he always goes with these lines but never against. Here are some examples.

Home team -3 never bets a home team -3
Road team - 2 - 3 never bets road team favored by 2-3
Road team +3.5 or 4 - never bet a road dog of +3.5 or +4

Others

Never bet home team favored by 10.5 or 13.5

What do you all think about this? Sorry for my first post being long winded
