Brandon Marshall benched
Broncos coach Josh McDaniels said Friday that he was benching Pro Bowl receiver Brandon Marshall for the team's critical season finale Sunday against Kansas City.

McDaniels wouldn't directly address the reasons for his decision, though he mentioned accountability and said several other players will play Sunday with injuries worse than Marshall's. Marshall tweaked his right hamstring at practice Wednesday.

Maybe he figures they'll make the playoffs and wants to rest Marshall.

Yeah Mcdaniels benching your best player really increases your chances on winning, looking back at the offseason and now this I dont know who is a bigger premaddona/egomaniac Mcdaniels, Marshall or Cutler

They said today that he was hesitant and kinda refusing to play even after being cleared and everything so Mcdaniels benched him. So he was refusing to play because of injury and then benched after that. Kind of like being fired and then saying no I quit.
