Brett Farve Sit or start

Wanted to hear from the forum on what you would do moving forward for the Vikings. Do you sit Brett Farve knowing that you are for the most part finished for the season. Is it time to get someone else some playing time or do you ride the ship. If the Vikings are going to get a free agent next season then playing time this season means little. If you are going to try and trade your QB for pick in draft and or trade then getting him time may help his value. It will be interesting to see your responses.

Got to play this week against gb. He will want to win this one real bad knowing it will be his final game against gb. If minn loses to gb then i would sit him, if minn beats gb then i would play him until minn is eliminated from playoff contention.

personally I think if Vikes lose this weekend Favre shuts it down for the season. Jackson is free agent and other qb is unpolished rookie who is probably 3 to 4 years away from seeing the field. He still gives them the best chance to win and sells tickets.

Aren't they pretty much illiminated now ? Testing TJ will give them an idea if they want to resign him for shop elsewhere next season. I understand you point on wanting him to play against GB but does Farve give the Vikings the best chance of winning? A younger QB may be able to win this game and as you say keep them in the playoff hunt. Farve has killed this team all season what makes you think it is going to stop now ? It will be interesting to see how this situation is handled. Look forward to your answers. GL

You have to start favre this week there is always a chance at running the table and finishing 10-6 but very unlikely but 10-6 gives you a shot at a wildcard even though that is pushing it. I believe it was 2008 when the patriots went 11-5 and missed the playoffs because the afc wildcards had stronger records due to the afc west being so bad i think the chargers won the west with and 8-8 record and this year the nfc west winner will be just as bad making the wildcard very tough with anything less than 10-6. But if the vikings lose sunday you most certainly shut favre down for the rest of the year.

i think if they lose to gb there will be no chance to get in the playoffs, if they beat gb then they will still be alive till they lose 8 games. the nfc is weak this year so at least 1 maybe 2 teams will get in at 9-7. i do feel favre gives them the best chance to beat gb because he will want it badly and knows their defensive tendencies. remember he beat them twice last year and almost beat them earlier at gb this year. i think you should have waited till this monday to ask this since the answer would be easier to give.
