The NFL concluded its investigation into the Brett Favre case and said that commissioner Roger Goodell "could not conclude that Favre violated league policies" but fined the quarterback $50,000 "for his failure to cooperate with the investigation."

$50k?? Oh well, his wife will take much more than that. Poor guy already lost his dignity this season.

I am not surprised, they didn't have the balls to suspend him. It was obviously his voice on the messages & his unit in the pictures. Sterger will sue Favre & settle for an amount and we won't hear from him again........I think.

I disagree. If she sues, it will be very, very public. She and her attorney will see to that.

And not that I totally disagree with this. The NFL treated Favre like Favre wanted Sterger to treat him.

$50,000 for a guy who earned 15 million.

Percentage-wise, that's the equivalence of fining a guy who earns $30,000 a C-note. Whoda thought sending a pic of your pecker to some woman would be cheaper than parking in a red zone?
