BS calls on receivers, NFL out of control

This phucken stupid rule on hitting defenseless WR is BS. Phili got phucked on a BS call by Godells bitches. They have to take some power away from Godell he is phucken up these games and they are affecting the out come. They may as well put flags on these WR and call it good. Phucken sick of one man making decisions for the whole league. Like our government no one person has this much power. I understand wanting to stop bad hits but this shit is out of control and something needs to be done.

It makes you wonder how nobody got hurt 60 or 70 years ago when they had no face guard and their helmets were almost just leather.

Same game as Phili DL hits Peyton in the head with his arm as he is being blocked, unreal. Say what you want but this league is turning into a cup cake league. BS call and it is going to get worse as the weeks go by. It will be interesting to see if they decide the SuperBowl off one of these Bull S hit calls.

Today's players are much bigger, stronger, and faster than they were 60 or 70 years ago. Hits today are more violent than ever, and it will continue to get worse. I hate to see them limiting how defensive players hit, but they have to do something or someone will end up getting killed.

I disagree, his head hit the turf harder then helmet to helmet.

problem is 60 years ago they had no idea of how it would effect peoples lives long term. As someone mentioned ppl bigger, faster, stronger so it has become more violent. Plus believe players just go for the big hit nowadays vs. wrapping up.

Wether you like it or not it is in the NFL's best interest to protect themselves from a future lawsuit from some of these players. As time goes on and we continue to learn more about concussions opens the door to sue the league for not taking actions to protect its players.

As a fan we can bitch that it changes the way it is played but at the end of the day the players are human beings who have to be able to have a life after football especially given so many careers so short.

If he was out he would have fumbled the ball. Trust me, it was all an act and this is going to get worse as the weeks go on. Mark my word that this new BS rule is going to ruin the a playoff game or even the SB. Goddell is out of control and he needs to stop turning this into a pussy league. He has handcuffed teams like, Baltimore, Jets and Steelers. I see your point but you can not convince me that this is good for the game. The hit to Peytons helmet was a joke. You have to admit that. i didn't see whatever happened with a WR, but that call on trent cole i think it was was garbage...

he slapped his helmet going for the ball while some huge guy is shoving him around- how is he supposed to avoid that- the ball comes out right next to the QBs ear... slapped his helmet...

that one was trash, but i understand the change they made a couple weeks ago, and i agree with it... and i've seen maybe 2 plays in however many games that looked any different than they did before, where a guy hit numbers when he might've hit high. I think it was good change. Concussion went from like 12 in week six or whatever to 2 the next week... and the change was pretty much imperceptible to me

i'd rather see a few less headshots than somebody end up killed, just me personally...

the call on peyton was legit..the rule is you cannot make contact on the qb's helmet at all. the unneccessary on receiver was bs tho, only reason he called that was bc collie went out cold...

Very well said and I agree with you. Its to unclear and WR duck their heads its reflex action to get down. This in turn brings helmets together. When Harrison made his dirty hit I called it and said I was against that kind of hit. But todays hits were all BS in my honest opinion.

didn't see any of todays hits. saw Roy on the ground but didn't catch the replay. Agree it sucks when they add so much judgement into the play especially when you are talking about a 15 yard penalty. In week 1 noticed a lot of week roughing the passer penalties being called but in games I am watching seems to have slowed down some.

Personally from what I have seen as long as you don't show the crown of your helmet when trying to make a play you are fine. With people falling makes it tough as the angles change so quickly. Would like to see a reel of all the flagged plays and see if they are consistent in the call.

just went to find replay of collie, and yea i really don't know about that... it didn't look bad at all... It looked like they threw the flag because collie was KTFO, really...

bad call i think, just having seen a grainy replay
