Carolina is 2nd in the league in defensive yards per play. They aren't much better at stopping the run, but they are 3rd in Passing yards per attempt allowed. Tampa is 17th or worst in every single defensive category

Claussen has been terrible this year, but he had a great practice this week, and if Carolina is able to get ahead(Tampa has trailed at halftime in every home game this year), they can lean to the running game and call safe pass plays. Sutton will do just fine against a defense that allows 5 yards a carry.

Tampa has a -33 pt differential on the year, and the biggest lead they've had in a game this year is 13 pts. The only time Tampa has ever swept Carolina was when they won the Super Bowl.
