Can Jax Win This Game?

betting against manning is one of the scariest thing in sports. at any given time he can go 3 plays 72 yards for a TD. he seems to complete about 75% of his passes when i have the other side.

being down 17 is nothing for him.

how do you beat this guy? controlling the clock hasnt worked, pressuring him used to, but now he has 5 legit threats playing along side him.

texans had him twice, miami had him, ravens had him, jax had them in week 1, SF had a chance.......new england had them like no team could ever have a team

They don't want to repeat what has happened in the past regarding "resting" players....the Colts will have plenty of time to do that. I'm sure they will rest players @ Buffalo to prevent any cold weather injuries. Plus they have the bye week before their first home playoff game. Colts will win by 10+ tonight.

its an underrated defense...despite being middle of the pack in giving up yards

they are #2 in the whole league in giving up points, tied with the bengals....

and the bengals control clock, something the colts dont do

ask the dallas cowboys how much yards means, as they cant score in the red zone

same can be said for a defense that doesnt give up points, only yards inbetween the 20s

solid red zone defense, who is opportunistic

overall id say def top 25% of the league or top 8 or so

i have seen them against arizona, SF, miami, new england...i think thats it

i just use fantasy #s for defenses, its easier and fairly accurate

i would disagree...their defense is average at best. look at their last 10 games, they've trailed in the 4th qtr numerous times. only thing they have is two edge rushers...you can run right at them and a team like jax who knows them pretty well, will use MJD to abuse them

scoring defense is the only thing that matters...they are #2 in giving up points and thats without a clock controlling offense

to look at from another viewpoint and show how little yards matter...

dallas is #3 in total offense (yards) yet #13 in scoring

its a red zone league, thats when windows are smaller, and defenses get tight

if you cant score in the red zone, bad or conversely you dont allow scoring, in the red zone, it be good

theres like 3 things that matter about a defense, PA, TOs, and RZ Scoring %.

YPG could be the most overrated stat on offense and defense

colts having big leads has made teams one dimensional against them. in close games their defense struggles. look at the game this sunday, the entire 2nd half the colts couldnt stop the broncos at all...and they are a mediocre offense. i go by the eye test...and they dont pass better than a C

i'm not talking yards per game, i'm talking about watching games. they are an average defense
