Cardinals @ Redskins Discussion

Line at Skins -4 and 44.5.

First game of the season for me so I am getting fired up to go. Got my new #91 Kerrigan jersey already laid out and ready.

Kolb looked pretty good in his debut in AZ, but the Cardinals will see a much tougher defense in the Skins this weekend. Cards came back late and had to rely on special teams to win the game, which is very nice but do not see that happening again.

Skins defense looked sharp at times, but surprise surprise really miss Landry... and for that matter Jenkins. Doughty looked confused on a few plays and was exposed pretty badly. Need to tighten that up against Doucet ant Fitzy.

Looking for a great game here and would appreciate a discussion... but for the time being I think the best bets would be: Skins -4; O 44.5.

Last outcome 2008 in regular season action Skins won 24 - 17 (41) on Sept 21
prior to that 2007 in Oct Skins won 21 -19 (40)both when Kurt was with Arizona.
then in 2005 Skins won 17 -13 (30)
With all the overs in week one i am thinking under on this one. best of luck

Shanahan usually has his teams playing well early in the season... Arizona traveling to the East Coast ... Like Skins here!!

I see this being a really good, close game that'll be decided in the 4th quarter. I'm liking the Skins, but I can honestly seem them winning in a FG that'll barely miss the over. May tease the Skins with Green Bay.

I hate that I love the Skins on this one but I do... I really don't trust any team with Rex as starting QB, but I thought 'Zona looked really sloppy last week. I'm prolly goin with the Skins and definitely the under.

I think that Grossman will be a much better QB under Shanahan, it remembers me of Jake Plummer playing under him. 21 for 34 with 305 yards and 2 TD last week was pretty impressive. I like the way instead of forcing the play, he takes the sack instead now. He should have a good game this week since the Cards secondary was awful vs a rookie QB.

Don't know if the Cards will run much with Chris Wells the way this SKins defense stopped the Giants rushing attack last week. Cards playing on East Coast at 1 PM are 1-5 in the past 3 years and 0-2 last year (lost by 34 vs Atl).

Skins are underrated in my opinion, so if I had a gun on the head, Redskins would definitely be my pick!
