Cheesehead d
Here's my take.
GB's D has the luxury of having a QB who's off the charts. They just happen to play a relaxed D at the moment. They do not have to make an effort like BAL has to, to win a game. Look what happened to BAL in WK2 after KOing PIT in WK1. GB leads the NFL in INTs. What does that tell you. IMHO |

What is the combined record of the packers opponents? They don't play anyone!! Aaron is a solid QB but that defense has a LOT of soft spots. Time will tell---get to the Playoffs and you have a week to week survival mode.
I'd like to see GRB vs NYG/SF.... That'd be a tell all. |

that's my point, they just fart around. your d just has to be as good as it needs to be to win. you dont have to blow everyone out.
they beat some good teams, saints, bears and falcons...with ease |

They beatA MEDIOCRE Atlanta early in the season. They play a totally different bears team than they did in sept on christmas day. I'll be at the game. They play a totally different Vikings team than they did three weeks ago on Monday night. The lions... Turkey day will tell.
There are a handful of teams in the NFC that are good. The biggest advantage GB is gonna have is playing at lambeau---in january---vs a fair weather team. The only NFC team that I see beating them AT lambeau, in Jan given the weather is the Gmen. Can you say NFC championship 2008-09 part II???? |
