You can never understate the importance of emotion in sports. It's what explains upsets and in football with the grueling nature of hard hitting physical contact, it plays a bigger part than in any other game. The Vikings are not ready to win tonight. They are jacked up under center with Jackson and Rosenfels pissed the team felt the need to bring in Favvre and Favre, not having been in camp, isn't close to being ready.

Sage and TJ can be as pissed off as much as they want(although I believe 99% of the rest of the team are exstatic to have a QB who can make a throw down the field) but they are also now playing to have a contract in the next couple of weeks because there is a good chance that one of them will not be around with Favre now being there and Booty still in the wings. The emotion of having a paycheck coming in when the season starts is a very important emotion, lol!!!
