That story definitely hit home, I almost lost my big brother when I was 15 years old and he was 19waiting on a kidney transplant. 10 years later at the age of 25 he is now in better shape then I'm in. Still has seizures from time to time due to stress but its better then it could of been. What great story put together by cbs.

I remember seeing this earlier today. I kind of caught it mid way thru while I was looking for the game to begin. A very nice beginning for the abrupt end of a fledging football career, and human being. Just an awe inspiring story. Thanks, It kind of puts things in perspective for me. thanks alot. Wow that was good! Very emotional. She is a strong woman, and stories like this are always refreshing when the media is so eager to focus on all the horrible shit these guys do.

I saw that story also and it is nice to know that so many people were helped by a woman beating scumbags death. Brought a tear to my eye also.
