Chris Schultz' Super Bowl Pick
6:30 PM Sunday, February 06, 2011
Pittsburgh Green Bay (-2.5) Schultz Picks: Green Bay: ---------------------------------------------------- I anticipate that the Green Bay Packers are going to make the effort to start fast on offence, spreading Pittsburgh out and attack with Aaron Rodgers in control, trying to create a magical rhythm with a short passing game, and only going for a kill shot after first level success. I anticipate the Steelers will take an opposite approach making this a battle of physical, punishing play. If Rashard Mendenhall can run for over 100 yards, Pittsburgh can win. The Steelers are starting their sixth and eighth best offensive linemen and, although right tackle Flozell Adams is a proven pro, this could be a game where the backups do not pass the test. The coaches, coordinators, quarterbacks and leaders on both teams are all well educated in making all the right game-day decisions. This Super Bowl comes down to execution of designed plays over and over and over. I think it will be the Green Bay Packers winning by three, covering the 2.5 points. - Packers 23, Steelers 20 |
