Chris Schultz on Wk 12

12:30 PM Thursday, November 25, 2010
New England (-7.0) @ Detroit Schultz Picks: New England:
---------------------------------------------------------

After the loss to Cleveland, 34-14 on November 7, the Patriots have had impressive wins over Pittsburgh and a three point win over the Colts. Detroit has two road losses against Buffalo and Dallas. But even on a short week, I think the maturity and preparation of the Patriots will be evident over a Lions team that only knows how to win at home. New England by 10, cover the 7

New Orleans (-4.0) @ Dallas Schultz Picks: New Orleans:
-------------------------------------------------------

This will be the test for the Cowboys after two dominate wins at New York, and last week against Detroit at home. For New Orleans, they are on a three-game winning streak after the Week 7 loss to Cleveland. This will be the first of four great quarterbacks Dallas has to face in the next month. First Drew Brees, then Peyton Manning, Michael Vick and finally Donovan McNabb. Saints cover

8:20 PM Thursday, November 25, 2010
Cincinnati @ NY Jets (-9.0) Schultz Picks: Cincinnati:
----------------------------------------------------

You can make an argument that the Cincinnati Bengals are the single biggest disappointment of 2010. I see great individual talent but something is definitely missing. The Jets and Patriots are on a collision course that ends Monday, December 6. First the Jets have to beat the Bengals, and they probably will, but I don't like 9 points.

...the rest of the games will come on Friday.

Green Bay @ Atlanta Schultz Picks: Atlanta:
-------------------------------------------

Two of the NFL's best quarterbacks. Aaron Rodgers of Green Bay and Matt Ryan of Atlanta. Could be an NFC Championship game preview. With a little better running game, could be a last possession win for Atlanta.

1:00 PM Sunday, November 28, 2010
Pittsburgh (-6.5) @ Buffalo Schultz Picks: Pittsburgh:
---------------------------------------------------

The Steeler run defence should make Buffalo one-dimensional fast. After two good wins over Detroit and Cincinnati, this could be a reality check game for the Bills.

1:00 PM Sunday, November 28, 2010
Carolina @ Cleveland (-10.0) Schultz Picks: Cleveland:
-----------------------------------------------------

I like the Browns. Slowly and surly the Mike Holmgren, Eric Mangini association is bringing respect back to Browns football. For the Panthers, too injured in too many key areas.

1:00 PM Sunday, November 28, 2010
Jacksonville @ NY Giants (-9.5) Schultz Picks: Jacksonville:
----------------------------------------------------------

The Giants lost to Philadelphia last week and Dallas the week before. Jacksonville has won their last two over Houston and Cleveland by very close scores. The 9.5 point spread is just too much for me.

1:00 PM Sunday, November 28, 2010
Minnesota @ Washington (-1.0) Schultz Picks: Minnesota:
--------------------------------------------------------

Brad Childress is out, Leslie Frazier is in. The Vikings have a new head coach and a new attitude and Sidney Rice may be back this week for them too.

1:00 PM Sunday, November 28, 2010
Tennessee @ Houston (-6.5) Schultz Picks: Houston:
----------------------------------------------------

The Titans are down to their third quarterback this week. Vince Young is out for the season and Kerry Collins isn't due back for another two weeks. Houston is due, as long as they tackle Chris Johnson.

4:05 PM Sunday, November 28, 2010
Kansas City @ Seattle Schultz Picks: Kansas City:
------------------------------------------------

Both teams can still win the division - the Chiefs in the AFC West and the Seahawks in the NFC West - but the loser takes a major step back.

4:05 PM Sunday, November 28, 2010
Miami @ Oakland (-3.0) Schultz Picks: Oakland:
----------------------------------------------

The Raiders were brought back to Earthby Pittsburgh. But, they are a better team than they have been in many years.

4:15 PM Sunday, November 28, 2010
St. Louis @ Denver (-4.0) Schultz Picks: St. Louis:
-------------------------------------------------

The Broncos started so strong against San Diego, but after the initial drive, that was it. St. Louis took a good Atlanta team into the fourth quarter last week.

4:15 PM Sunday, November 28, 2010
Philadelphia @ Chicago (-3.5) Schultz Picks: Philadelphia:
-------------------------------------------------------

Although their win-loss records are similar, I just think Philadelphia is the better team. The Giants did have success pursuing Michael Vick into mistakes, but the more Vick plays the better he will be.

4:15 PM Sunday, November 28, 2010
Tampa Bay @ Baltimore (-7.5) Schultz Picks: Tampa Bay:
-------------------------------------------------------

The Bucs beat the teams they should beat, and lose to the teams with winning records. I think Baltimore wins. Can Tampa Bay keep it close? Yes they can.

8:20 PM Sunday, November 28, 2010
San Diego @ Indianapolis (-2.5) Schultz Picks: Indianapolis:
----------------------------------------------------------

In their most recent losses - Philadelphia by two and New England by three - Peyton Manning had his team in position to win. Colts play their best at home.

8:30 PM Monday, November 29, 2010
San Francisco @ Arizona Schultz Picks: Arizona:
-----------------------------------------------

The 49ers were shut out by the Bucs last week. Everything has gone wrong on a team that could have won their division. Same with Arizona. The only advantage I see in this one is that it's in Phoenix.

Schultz has been on PIT Steelers all season-long i think. He must be up in money with them.

This week i like what he says on MIN Vikings. That's all i've got so far.

I've been up playing against SF 49ers as the books gave them credit until last week. But AZ Cards suck as well and been playing against them now. But this one is hard to pick since they both suck. Is it just a question of who sucks the most?

I like to play on ATL Falcs especially at home.

I have a lil' uncanny feeling on CHI Bears covering the hook this week.

The rest of the games are 50-50 for me right now.

I really like the Minni game, and as a ravens fan I like Tampa covering the spread this week I got em at +9, I can see them keeping it close, and I hate to say it maybe even win.
