Chris Schultz on Wk 2...

Not a good start for Chris Schultz going 3-10-3 ATS in Wk 1.
1:00 PM Sunday, September 19, 2010He will have his ups and downs like all of us. Let's see what he likes in Wk 2...

Arizona Atlanta (-7.5) Schultz Picks: Atlanta:
--------------------------------------------

The Cardinals squeaked out a win over a rebuilding Rams' team and will be in for a tougher go in Atlanta against Matt Ryan - who's 13-1 in his career at home. The Falcons got no offence (just three FGs) against Pittsburgh last week and are still waiting for Michael Turner to show his from two years ago. But take Atlanta at home to cover.

1:00 PM Sunday, September 19, 2010
Baltimore Cincinnati Schultz Picks: Cincinnati:
--------------------------------------------

It's back-to-back road games for the Ravens to start the year and they just squeaked past the Jets last week by a point. The Bengals have won five of the last seven against Baltimore and took all six games against divisional opponents last year. Take the Bengals.

1:00 PM Sunday, September 19, 2010
Kansas City Cleveland (-1.5) Schultz Picks: Kansas City:
-------------------------------------------------------

The Chiefs are an up and coming team and looked very good in the Monday nighter against the Chargers. That, combined with Cleveland's loss last week to Tampa Bay? Take the Chiefs on the road.

1:00 PM Sunday, September 19, 2010
Chicago Dallas (-9.5) Schultz Picks: Chicago:
--------------------------------------------

Matt Forte was a one-man gang for Chicago, but the Bears squeaked by Detroit thanks to a bad call. And you figure the Cowboys - who have to have their penalty trouble controlled - will be firing on all cylinders after a tough loss in Washington. Dallas wins, but not by much.

1:00 PM Sunday, September 19, 2010
Philadelphia (-3.0) Detroit Schultz Picks: Philadelphia:
----------------------------------------------------

It's been 45 months since Michael Vick got an NFL start and Kevin Kolb's concussion has given him the reins once more. He did most of the work with his legs last week but must use his young talent core of receivers (ie. Jackson and Celek) to get things going.

1:00 PM Sunday, September 19, 2010
Buffalo Green Bay (-14.0) Schultz Picks: Green Bay:
--------------------------------------------------

Buffalo showed no offence at home last week. Case in point - rookie CJ Spiller struggled out of the gate and the Bills didn't reach the 100-yard mark on offence until late in the fourth quarter. The Packers looked like a contender against Philly last week - and without Ryan Grant who is gone for the season. Aaron Rodgers should do very well against a weak Buffalo team.

1:00 PM Sunday, September 19, 2010
Pittsburgh Tennessee (-5.5) Schultz Picks: Tennessee:
-----------------------------------------------------

The Titans looked impressive against an overmatched Oakland team, though Chris Johnson's streak of 100-plus yard games (12 - two shy of Barry Sanders' NFL record) could be in jeopardy as the Steelers play very tough against the run. And Johnson was held under 70 yards in each of his two games against Pittsburgh. But with no Roethlisberger, take the Titans.

1:00 PM Sunday, September 19, 2010
Miami Minnesota (-5.5) Schultz Picks: Minnesota:
------------------------------------------------

Miami's offence struggled against a bad Buffalo team and Minnesota's offence struggled against New Orleans team, so something has to give. Favre's been out of sync since a late arrival for training camp and the team still need a good receiver on offence without Sidney Rice. But he has won nine straight at home (eight regular season and one playoff game), so take Minny to cover.

1:00 PM Sunday, September 19, 2010
Tampa Bay Carolina (-2.0) Schultz Picks: Carolina:
-------------------------------------------------

Tampa Bay is coming off a win over Cleveland, but it's hard not to like the Panthers in this one. They have a strong running game that should fare well against a rebuilding Buccanneers defence.

4:05 PM Sunday, September 19, 2010
St. Louis Oakland (-4.0) Schultz Picks: Oakland:
----------------------------------------------

Sam Bradford came out of Week 1 with a touchdown, three picks and a 53.1 QB rating - not exactly a memorable career start. And over the last three years, the Rams are just 4-20 on the road. With 95 yards rushing and 55 yards receiving, Darren McFadden was a big surprise for the Raiders last week against Tennessee. Take the Raiders.

4:05 PM Sunday, September 19, 2010
Seattle Denver (-3.5) Schultz Picks: Denver:
--------------------------------------------

The Broncos have won 10 straight home openers - the longest current streak in the NFL - and Kyle Orton has a 19-5 career record at home. And Seattle was 1-7 on the road last season with their lone win against the lowly Rams.

4:15 PM Sunday, September 19, 2010
New England NY Jets Schultz Picks: New England:
------------------------------------------------

The Jets didn't live up to their high expectations in Week 1 with a tough loss to Baltimore and Mark Sanchez struggled out of the pocket. On the other side, Tom Brady is 7-1 (albeit at the old Giants Stadium) at the Meadowlands and the Pats' offence looked great last week against Cincinnati.

4:15 PM Sunday, September 19, 2010
Jacksonville San Diego (-9.5) Schultz Picks: Jacksonville:
-------------------------------------------------------

This should be a good bounce-back game for the Chargers, who lost their Monday nighter against the Chiefs. Their passing game could have used Vincent Jackson in the lineup, though Philip Rivers was great with 298 yard passing and two touchdowns. The Chargers are historically a slow starting team - especially in September. They'll win this one, but not by much.

4:15 PM Sunday, September 19, 2010
Houston (-2.5) Washington Schultz Picks: Houston:
--------------------------------------------------

The Texans looked fantastic in one of their biggest wins in franchise history against the Colts last week, led by Arian Foster's 231 rushing yards and three touchdowns. Even if the Redskins can slow him down, Matt Schaub can light it up in the air with one of the league's best receivers in Andre Johnson.

8:20 PM Sunday, September 19, 2010
NY Giants Indianapolis (-5.5) Schultz Picks: Indianapolis:
------------------------------------------------------

The Colts haven't had an 0-2 with Peyton Manning starting since his rookie season in 1998. And I don't see that happening this season. Take the Colts to cover in Part 2 of this sibling rivalry.

8:30 PM Monday, September 20, 2010
New Orleans (-4.5) San Francisco Schultz Picks: New Orleans:
------------------------------------------------------------

The Niners were one of the biggest disappointments last week - a division favourite that came up flat in Seattle. Alex Smith has yet to turn the corner as a quarterback who can lead a talented group, and their defence - ranked as one of the best in the league last season - will be in tough against Brees and the Saints. Until the Niners show that they're as good as the prognosticators say they are, go with the Saints.

I'm looking for Shultz to have a big week, he does really well, usually hitting at a 56-58% clip, I can't see him having another bad week.

I've noticed many, many, and many more of those Bounce-Back-Weeks you speak of after a poor one over the years.

Personally, I don't care about his picks--nor anyone else's for that matter. He brings good info to the Round Table and that's what I'm after.

[QUOTE=bt33;4021550]Thanks for posting, I never seem to be watching TSN in the right time.[/Q

He does something new this year on TSN.CA, giving out the picks on a short clip. He may tell you which one he likes the best, last week he had the Packers has his top pick.
