Keep in mind the Dolphins and Panthers were predicted to go to the Super Bowl two years ago

Most impressive player in mini camp, offensively or defensively, according to the coaches

Tavaris Jackson

Even I don't think they will win the Super Bowl, A division championship would be nice though

Minnesota is missing one important piece of what it takes to have a championship team. They need a quarterback that can throw the ball. I can't think of any team that has made it to the Super Bowl that didn't have solid quarterback. The Baltimore Ravens with Trent Dilfer comes to mind, but the Vikings are not the 2000 Ravens on defense. I don't understand this pick at all, I think the writer is out to lunch. You can stop the Vikings with eight men in the box.

I think they have a great shot at winning the Norris this year, should be a great battle between them and GB........

Tell me if they get homefield throughout they won't wish they were playing back at the old Metropolitan Stadium instead of the baggy dome. Can still see Bud Grant roaming the sidelines........

they win because john-david booty takes over in week 7 and wins ROY, makes Pro-bowl, and eventually wins Super Bowl MVP

He is only backing them because of Booty. The only Booty call you will have in Minnesota this year is a late night visit by the ladies to Gerk's palatial pad

I agree that the QB is the one very important piece they seem to lack but the coaches like Tavares. Should be interesting what happens. If he can beat you with the pass, that offense will be very good

AP's inability to stay healthy is another big concern, I would think. If he can play 16 games, Vikings could go 12-4........

That sounds more likely, though a little far-fetched, but looking at last year's competition, the Vikings would have needed to beat the Giants, Cowboys, Seahawks, and Packers in order to reach the Super Bowl. They can do that with John David Booty? I doubt it...
