Question Coaching matchup Superbowl XLV

Which Mike do you have confidence in more here?

Not who has the better past , but who will have thier team prepared and manage the game mistake free in realtime.

I think Tomlin is the better coach without a doubt...McCarthy has blown too many games. I think he'll have a good offensive gameplan but the in-game decisions are scary

I dont think it will be an issue, both teams will play to their potential, and both coaches will prepare their teams well

but if forced, gotta go tomlin

Both. This will not be an issue in this game. The issue will be a simple one can the Steelers defensive weakness which is their secondary be overcome by the strength of the Steelers the ability to get pressure. My opinion is it won't be able to do enough and the Packers win but it won't be because of either coach being a genius or being a goat.

Im suprised you guys dont think coaching will be an issue, with the 2 weeks I think its big. There have been more then a few crucial bonehead coaching calls that cost teams games this seaon.

Both guys id imagine have the final say on how they want to approach the gameplan. Supposedly all about giving different looks then the opponent can see on film. I cant remember the last superbowl that didnt have either a wr reverse pass for a td or a an unexpected onside kick or fake punt etc... I cant think of the last straight forward played game.

Last year the Onside kick after half was huge, Id imagine one of these coach's will have some tricks up thier sleeve. Maybe what I should have said was the teams coaching staff as a whole.

before anyone dismisses the GB staff consider how many injuries this team had, 3 off and 3 def starters, and where they are now

Tomlin is the only head coach in NFL history to coach in two Super Bowls before age 40.............

Different Teams and they won them both , whats that count for?

How much stock to you put in Super Bowl Experience in general, the Steelers have 25 players who played in a SB, 16 players play in 2 SBs, 14 starters have won a Super Bowl.

GB has 1 player on thier team with SB exp, and that was with Pittsburgh.

Does it help in Prep, opening jitters, 4th quarter?

Tomlin has one of the worst Offensive coaches in the game. This phucken guy drives me nuts and he keeps all Steeler games close. I hope they send him packing at the end of the season.
Greenbay has a lot of injuries and they have been able to keep this team on track. I agree that both teams will be ready to play.

If a player needs a coach to motivate him to get up for the Super Bowl, then something is wrong

The Steelers again will don their road white jerseys for a Super Bowl after the Packers chose to wear their home green jerseys for this year's big game. "We're excited about that," Packers coach and Greenfield native Mike McCarthy told USA Today yesterday. The AFC and NFC conferences rotate first-choice of jerseys on a year-to-year basis. The Steelers won Super Bowls IX, XL, and XLIII in their road whites and haven't worn their home black uniforms since a 27-17 loss to the Dallas Cowboys in Super Bowl XXX
