Coles Walks Away From $6 Million From The Jets For.....
$28 MILLION FROM THE BENGALS !!!


Bengals agreed to terms with WR Laveranues Coles, according to NFL Network's Adam Schefter. The deal will pay $28 million over four years.

Coles, 31, isn't the deep threat he once was, but remains a gritty wideout with sure hands. Though injuries nagged him in 2008, he's played 16 games in five of his last six seasons and produced 850 yards on 70 catches last year, with seven touchdowns.

Carson Palmer will be the best quarterback he's ever played with. Coles will at least be the No. 2 option in Cincinnati's passing offense, so statistical improvement in 2009 is within reach.

I am by no means a Jets fan, but Coles is very tough--always playing hurt and fighting for the extra yard. With Palmer as his QB, and Ocho Idiot (and Chris Henry) out there, he will do well. He will get the 90 catches that Housh was getting (but probably with only 5-6 TDs).

and they landed benson once a number 1 overall pick. like the way he looked in our last 4 games. lookout steelers here we come.

Cincy had to do something. Coles is a decent enough receiver. Cincy did show somelife in the second half of their season last year.

The Jets are a mess. Instead of battling Miami and New England for the top spot, they will be battling Buffalo for the cellar of the AFC East.
