***Could this be the Biggest Trap line in Superbowl History?***

First off i have been doing this for 19years and i have seen it all in Sports gambling.I have held my own for many years and continue to do well i am very good in Baseball and above average in football, basketball, hockey.I just dont understand why this line came out at (Pats-14).I can estimate lines with the best.I had this line between 10.5-11.5.Very rare you will see a 2 to 2.5 line move on the Superbowl.I smell something here on this game. The odds makers had to know that the Giants were hot coming in and the Pats have not been as dominate in last 6 weeks.I know they try to get action on each side to even it out but the giants are holding a 5 to 1 in action right now at the major books. The books have been scared this year like i have not seen since the Buffalo bills in the 90's,49ers80's and early 90's and the Dallas Cowboys in the 90's.They have tried to avoid Patroit action this year because the books get blasted early this year.I think the mindset of the odds makers was make it 14 and let the public decide "Because we dont want to much money on the Patroits no matter what".This has been the books mindset all year with the patroits and they are happy it is coming to a end.

I like the Giants plus the points but if the Patroits spread out the giants with 4 and 5 wide it could get ugly but my mindset is the patroits always win by 3 in the superbowl! We shall see!

I don't know if it was intended to be a trap or not, but it's turned in to one as everyone took the Giants and are trapped because the game isn't even going to be close. The fact that the Pats haven't covered in a long time, combined with the Giant's hot streak have contributed to value actually being in taking the public dog (New England). IMO

Well giant fan here. just flip a coin or take who you like.many of the things i look at in a game tells me new england covers this line. you can run this anyway you want and come up with different points for each team.
giants play-off run---last game of season new england seemed to be going for records first before the win.giants were down 10 when they pucnched in a td in closing minutes.
Tb-hurt and not really a good play-off team
dallas was playing bad going into the play-offs
& green bay-giants looked more at home in the cold.every man of age knows winter seems to get colder every year .farve just looked to damn cold.
new england were putting up lots of points and throw, throw, throw when the weather was nice.once the cold wind was blowing they had to go to the ground. now they play in arizona (warm and nice)

as far as the line -doesnt matter if its right. its only a number to make you think more about it.books arent stupid with this line. they know new england is capable of covering this but will they?
super bowl is bet on by more rookies than anything and who are most of them going to bet on? i would think the team that is 18-0 and won a few super bowls lately, another thing i thought about on the line that i didnt hear anyone kick out yet..wouldnt you think the books are loaded with bets from the first of the season when super bowl odds came out.
as far as public betting i dont see it being 5-1 giants seems to be about even to me. and by game time i bet more will be on new england. you already see all the tv touts calling for new england. plus my public guys all are changing there minds telling me everyone is on the giants with the points and they are going to get blowen out take new england.
myself i will probally bet on the coin toss put a few bucks (nothing big)on my giants i hope thay could prove everyone wrong including myself.
good luck friend

Seth: Fogell, this ID says that you're 25 years old. Why wouldn't you just put 21, man?
Fogell: Seth, Seth, Seth. Listen up, ass-face: every day, hundreds of kids go into the liquor store with fake IDs, and every single one says they're 21. Pssh, how many 21 year olds do you think there are in this town? It's called f*cking strategy, alright?

Dude, when the Pats go up 14-0 the G-men will be forced to throw and be forced to play catch up the rest of the way. I think it is a great "plan" to run the ball with Jacobs and Bradshaw, but I just don't think they will be able to establish a lead or stay close enough to to so. Moss is going to have a "huge" game and totally carve up that horrible Giants secondary. I see it getting ugly in a hurry and no chance for the Giants to establish the running game. In the process the Giants will be forced to throw a lot, which will either lead to some points on way or another. Either they will put some of their own points on the board or they will give it right back to Brady and company to keep pouring it on. I think the Pats want to prove that the game in NY was a fluke and they are much better than 3 points better than New York. OVER!! 38-20

Agree completely. How do other people not see it as we do?

Again, you could have used this logic with the Chargers game, and they easily covered

Betting the under really sucks because you want an exciting game which means both teams score. I hate being at the party with an unders bet yelling against the scoring teams. I would surmise that many are taking the overs because of their previous meeting ending in a 38-35 score. Don't see these teams taking many chances in this game. Running on both sides to eat the clock.
Whatta do I know...?

I really like the over and already jammed that one down my books throat. Looking at the side and something tells me that the Patriots kick the crap out of the Giants. I really really want to take all those points but something tells me that this game is all set up for a huge trap on the public. I mean, the Patriots took a lot of money away from the books and what a better way to pay them back. Win the SuperBowl by 17 and call it a day. Books get their money back and once again we are all stuck in the conversation of just how good is this team. Patriots will open this game up and the only real way they have of blowing this open is to throw the ball. Look for Brady to have 300 + passing yards and look for this game to turn into a track meet. Love the over for what its worth.
