Question Could the Dallas Cowboys be last year version of the Packers?

Around +3850 to win Super Bowl

Just like Green Bay last year they were losing close games early on but they were in every single game.

Look for the Cowboys who have an easier schedule coming up to make a run.

Anyone else see the early comparison?

Very similar except the part about them winning more than 5 games, making the playoffs or winning the Super Bowl. FYI Romo wouldn't even start for Miami right now.

No way, lotta teams winning and losing close games. GB has AR highest rated passer in NFL history, Cowboys got romo. Also gutless play calling in the Detroit game, that they shoulda won and they repeated it again in the NE game. Shoulda attempted to pass for a 1st down late in the 4th quarter instead of the shovel pass to eat a few more seconds. No way you give the ball back to Brady with 3mins. How often has Brady and the Pats come back to win when you put the ball in their hands for the last 2mins. Coaches must have this info on hand. Awful Coach and QB.

Not unless they pick up Rodgers and Mike Sherman.

I cant believe how many people are wrong about Romo... The guy actually has all the tools Rogers has and Brady and Manning dont.... Just as athletic

He just needs the confidence

Ironically for all the times we all have seen him have an untimely INT, he has the highest 4th quarter QB rating of all time I think, up there

In Detroit they needed to be conservative up big, this week they needed to be a little less conservative up 3 with 4 minutes left...

They havent lost a game by more than 4 in a long time

11 straight games starting with the loss to the saints 30-27 last year they have either won or lost by 4 points or less

I gotta think this team will eventually get W's, I still think they make the playoffs but winning it all? Probably a year away IMO...

Either way a good ATS team as a dog

dallas has a superbowl caliber team, romo does lack the confidence which is a big thing. they could and should make playoffs but i don't see them winning a game on the road in playoffs with romo

Yes the guy is very good. Talent wise top notch. Just seems to wilt under the pressure. I shoulda said not a big "game on the line QB" obviously not an awful QB.

another thing the defense is finally at full strength, until yesterday dallas had played with 2nd string, sometimes 3rd in the secondary...

Green Bay was 3-3 after 6 games last year and no one was talking Packers winning it all or Rodgers best in the game. Here were the games

9/12/2010 at Philadelphia W 27 - 20
9/19/2010 vs Buffalo W 34 - 7
9/27/2010 at Chicago L 20 - 17
10/3/2010 vs Detroit W 28 - 26
10/10/2010 at Washington L 16 - 13
10/17/2010 vs Miami L 23 - 20

Agree jack. The pack was a 16 to 1dog to win it all at the start of the playoffs. Very few were on the pack bandwagon before they beat Philly in Philly.
