It seemed to me that several players got hurt bad just landing on the field. I know that they have cement under the turf but maybe they need to add some more padding. I believe I saw 4 players get hurt from just landing hard on he turf. Exactly why I like the real stuff. Thoughts ?

coincidence / bad luck... never really happened during the season that I noticed...

I did notice players slipping... which was a little weird.. again never saw that during the season either.

i said the same thing during the SB. Almost everyone that hit the turf seemed to come up with some injury. The ground seemed too hard, but was not a problem during the season. Curious if anything changed.

We were joking during the game stating Jerry was trying to eliminate his competition for next year by injuring players on his turf during the SB.

it was only about 15 degrees for a whole week... that should answer the question... everything was frozen...

I understand that, but you do not see it happen in Buffalo or NY or any other outdoor stadium with turf or fake grass. I know its just coincidence, but I did make the same observation as Steel.

end of a long season for players... bodies already at lowest point of fitness maybe?

I think it'll be a trend in the NFL going forward... just seems players are getting hurt more and more... more mass, more speed = more damage when they come to a halt...


I can't imagine Jerry would have skimped on the field.. he damn sure didn't skimp on anything else...

it has not been a problem at all this season. who knows if they properly took care of the field in the weather we had last week.

if the field was hard, im sure we wouldve heard about it by now from numerous players or sideline reporters....

OK, Ok... we're busted... actually trying to injure as many players as we can so we'll have a better chance of winning games next season...
