Cromartie to the J-E-T-S
The Chargers have agreed to trade CB Antonio Cromartie to the Jets. According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, the Bolts will receive a conditional 2011 third-round pick.
Per Schefter, the pick can be upgraded to a second-rounder depending on Cromartie's playing time and the Jets' performance. No one is disputing Cromartie's freakish natural talent, but Chargers GM A.J. Smith did well to pick up a valuable pick. Between Cromartie's myriad off-field issues and nonchalant on-field attitude, the Jets are taking quite a gamble. Of course, if Cromartie ever gets his head on straight, Rex Ryan's secondary will rise to a new level of dominance.

Hmm. I like this move because it only cost them a 3rd rounder. Nice job. Good for the Bolts as well because it'll free up some salary for them. SD's good enough to draft a guy to replace him no problem.

Wow clearly Cromartie isnt the player he was a few years ago, only a 3rd rounder? Couple years back this guy goes for a 1st rounder easy. Was he on the Merriman diet or something? Either way still think Jets got alot of value, Cromartie as a #2 corner for a 3rd round pick def worth it even it he sucks this year again, only 1 year left on deal too.

even if he sucks? so then you gave away a 3rd possibly 2nd round pick for nothing? that sounds pretty dumb to me
he got worse because all he does is try to jump routes and get ints. when the blitz or pass rush doesnt get there he gets torched
