Why was Chan Gailry fired after 2 yrs?

In Chad's first year in Dallas, the Cowboys would go on to finish 10-6
and with the NFC East.

A disappointing loss in the Wild-Card game against the Arizona Cardinals spoiled an otherwise successful season.

The following year the Cowboys were back in the playoffs after finishing 8-8 in the regular season.

Again the Cowboys lost in their opening game of the playoffs.

Two days after the playoff loss to the Minnesota Vikings, Gailey was fired by Jerry Jones.

There was no specific reason given by Jones,
but SUSPICION it was due to Chan's failure to advance
the Cowboys in the playoffs.

The Cowboys have not won a PLAYOFF GAME
SINCE 1996...

In 2007 they went 13-2 best nfc record ,
and lost 1st gm to NYG


Years later Jones would publicly state that it was a mistake
to fire Chan Gailey after just two seasons in Dallas.

fitz has no arm, and his receivers get him a lot of yac

I dont think hes bad but no genius, this bills team is an 8-8 team IMO

we will see how it pans out, but thus far they have gotten a lot of ( I wont say lucky) but bounces gone their way

before today they had the highest Pass to INT ratio, just below 7, that cant continue

They have had 2 ints that were kicked up in the air in one season already, the bills have gotten every bounce so far this year
