Folk isn't going to win any major awards, but he's still a solid kicker. Like BFD said, the change may be good for him. But the weather could play some havoc on him, since he's used to having 8 indoor games guaranteed a season.

I think it's a good pickup for the Jets, personally.

How can you say he is still a good kicker ?

Folk was one of the better kickers in the league, but then went south fast. Dude got in a slump, and I guess it really got in his head. Never know what will happen with the jets... wish the best for him. You know he has the leg to be great... so could be a great pickup... ya never know ( just like u never knew if he was gonna make a 30yrder last year hehe )
