"Dandy" Don Meredith passes away

At the age of 72

My first memories of watching football was watching the classic MNF team of Cosell, Gifford, and Meredith

As soon as the game was not in doubt, he would launch into singing, The Party's Over

A classic character

RIP

Original Cowboys were my fav team back in the 60s and 70s. If you ever get a chance, watch som eof the NFL films on the games between the Boys and the Pack on the frozen tundra. Classics.

Sorry to see Don has passed. He wasnt the most talented QB you will see, but he got more out of his abilities than many who were obviously more gifted.

Turn out the lights....

Evan: What? One name? ONE NAME!?!? Who are you? Seal?
Seth: Fogell, this ID says that you're 25 years old. Why wouldn't you just put 21, man?
Fogell: Seth, Seth, Seth. Listen up, ass-face: every day, hundreds of kids go into the liquor store with fake IDs, and every single one says they're 21. Pssh, how many 21 year olds do you think there are in this town? It's called f*cking strategy, alright?

One of the last great NFL characters -- he and Howard would usually gave a few pops during the telecasts...
The old Danderoo, as Cosell called him....
