especially when they are on the road in their first game....not sure what it has done recently, but the year after oakland lost in the super bowl they played their first game on the road at tennessee and lost...and prior to that the loser on the road failed quite a bit

I have heard to bet against the Champ in every major sport the first game of season. Dont think Steelers covered ly. It works decent in Baskets as well.
