Defensive Player of year

James Harrison and every Steeler fan knows what he has meant to this defense. Tough race but well deserved. Hopefully he plays well down the stretch as they are surely going to need him.

James Harrison Defensive player of the year

BTW Porter and Reed over Harrison

Pitt has plugged in MANY LB's into that system over the years who have flourished.

Coulda been any of the four guys.....Don't get swayed by Ed Reed's playoff game.....He is certainly a great player but came on late....Probably too late...

The voting should have been very tight....D. Ware had very comparable numbers...

Given Harrison will be 31 next May, I would not want him over the two other LB's Pitt has Woodley or Timmons ( late bloomer but IMO when it is all said and done will be better then Woodley)..

10 Ints in the last 7 games with a couple returned for TD's is too late to be considered????

And not only that....His 2 INT's vs. Miami have nothing to do with Defensive Player of the Year....
