Question Did Matt Flynn just earn himself a trade/fat contract ?

"Flynn threw for 480 yards and six touchdowns, giving him the new franchise record for not only yards but also for the most touchdowns."

Nice timing for Flynn... Gotta figure offers will pop up all over during the offseason, no ? Packers might get some more ammo for draft... a meaningless game might actually end up being their most important win of the regular season ?

He shocked me for a backup qb. Wouldn't be surprised if the vikings made a trade. webb is alright but could use flynn.

Yea.. with the way teams go after QB's these days I imagine he will be a hot topic... even with just 1 game.

yeah I think he probably would have gotten a decent contract anyways but this definitely added a few mil to the payday, the problem is the Packers missed the boat on getting something for him since he's a FA now

Oh wow.. didn't realize that. Sucks for them, but then again they don't need any help anyways.

Flynn is a free agent this year . The only way Packers can trade him is to franchise him and pay him what top three quarterbacks average. He will reallybe courted by Cleveland.

he's solid, but I wouldn't go throwing a ton of money at an unproven guy. After all, Detroit's secondary is terrible.

I was kind of comparing those 2 as well, but Kolb situation was really on an entirely different level from Flynn. There are some similarities though... I didn't know Flynn was a FA though so not as interesting as I thought,.
