Well I think it's a safe pick and they weren't going to trade it for a ton of picks (no one is that dumb anymore) - so guess I am happy they hurried and got the deal done. We really haven't had a real left tackle since Richmond Webb

A good pick in a weak draft. They got it done. Their last few drafts have been, well let's say questionable at best, so why not?

I like the pick considering no clear cut #1 it seems and teams just dont want the burden of the top pick with the signing bonuses being given out. But other than LG, they look to have a veyr solid starting OL with Long-Satele-Smile-Carey. Love Carey back at RT too. Turning in to one of their few solid picks over the last 10 years.
