Dolphins sign quarterback #17

The Miami Dolphins signed former Buffalo Bills quarterback J.P. Losman on Tuesday, placing Sage Rosenfels on the Reserve/Non-Football Illness List.

Losman, a former first-round draft pick, played with the Bills from 2004-08, starting 33 games

Rosenfels released a statement about the abrupt end to his football season:

"I am thankful for the opportunity the Dolphins gave me to come here and play, and I was looking forward to contributing to the team when I signed. When I first joined the Dolphins, all tests showed that I was healthy and ready to go. But after practicing for a few weeks, especially in the heat, some new indications made it obvious that I need to rest and allow my body to regain all requisite strength. I want to thank the Dolphins for their understanding and wish them the best of luck the rest of the season."

Honest to god the Greek posted the Dolphins +5 wins over Florida Gators at the start of the season and I smashed it and they let it through. (Real line was -1 Florida) I'm actually gonna get crushed by this

I don't know. Hopefully there is a backup plan after Luck. I mean that's a longshot

I really want them to go after Cowher, I think he's the guy for the job (although I would take Gruden or Fisher too)
