Dream question : Would the 2010-11 Steelers (pick any team) beat the 85 Bears?

First off, this isnt a "Are the Steelers the greatest team ever?" thread.

Not even close, in fact, you can substitute Patriots, Jets, Packers, any playoff team with Steelers and the question remains the same

I'm using the 85 Bears cuz they are IMO the greatest team of all-time

So if I think the Bears are the greatest ever then why am I asking? I'm asking because I dont think the generations (maybe wrong word) are comparable

I feel todays athlete is so much bigger, quicker, faster that even maybe half the teams in today's NFL could beat the 85 bears.

I got into a discussion with a friend of mine cuz I said the 2011 Lakers (even as lazy as they are) could beat the Lakers team from the 70s that won 33 in a row just on this principle alone

Sorry if this is kinda lame cuz its all "what ifs" and opinions but wanted some others thoughts on it

The 85 Bears would shut down most teams on most nights. I saw Marino light up those Bears but no one else seemed to be able to do it.

I know but look at this :

Heights/weights of the 85 Bears D-Line :

Dent 6-5 265 lbs
McMichael 6-2 270
Fridge 6-2 325
Hampton 6-5 264
Marshall 6-1 231

Heres the Pitt O-Line, I dont even know if theyre all starters, just picked 5 guys that are tackles, guards, etc

Adams 6-7 338 lbs
Foster 6-6 325
Scott 6-6 318
Pouncey 6-4 304
Kemauti (sp?) 6-3 344

Thats a pretty big size advantage, makes Fridge look avg

85' Bears are without question the greatest def in NFL history for a single season, dont care what era you put them in, they'd be dominant wherever. Greatest def John Madden says he ever saw, that's says it all
