Question Eagles At Bills? Who Ya Like ?

The Eagles rank 29th against the run and losing any starters on D is bad news.

I said to 3 people in my office , nice off season pick ups ,
but their biggest problem has always been STOPPING THE RUN

Vick complaining about the league protecting him getting hit ,
maybe he should have a talk with his Off Line players?

You're only as strong as your weakest link in this league,
which helps explain why three projected powerhouses
(Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, New York Jets)
are a combined 5-7 at the moment.

All three have serious issues along the offensive line right now and rank in the bottom 10 in run defense.

As for the red zone, the Eagles' 32nd-ranked red-zone defense has allowed touchdowns on 80 percent of opposing red zone possessions.
Through four games, the Bills offense ranks second in the league with a 75 conversion rate in the red zone.

Fred Jackson is fourth in the league with 369 rushing yards and second among running backs with 5.8 yards per carry.

the biggest loss for the Eagles this week is Jason Peters, their all Pro tackle is out this week with a hamstring injury.

Running back Fred Jackson should get plenty of work this week with Eagles defensive tackle Antonio Dixon (tricep) out for the year.

He was their best run stopper, while getting little help from the struggling linebackers.

Trent Cole (calf) is out and fellow defensive ends Darryl Tapp (knee)
and Juqua Parker (ankle) are questionable,
adding to the woes.

So Why are The 1-3 Eagles Favored over 3-1 Bills?

Obv although early , A MUST WIN game for Philly .

If they drop to 1-4 ,
With 16 game schedule ,
they'd have to win 9 of 11
to get a 10 win Season …

And they've only played the Giants so far in their Division..

don't like betting need to win games...

thoughts?

I like the Bills! First of all we're getting points at this time. Phil has way too many injuries. Must win or not, it's hard to overcome injuries in key positions. Bills have too many weapons on offense. The public has a slight lean on Phil as of now. Bills all the way--SU! Money in the bank.

Tough to not take points with the Bills right now...its a little concerning taking last weeks performance in mind but hey we all knew they wern't going 16-0 so until they look bad for longer than one hangover game i will bet with them

laughable that hype can buy you a -3 in a game you should be an underdog. Bills win.
Yes, this is a 'needs to win' for philly but with the nfc east there isn't a must win for a couple weeks as any team can nose dive.
Philly is the keep dreaming team. Never was as good as all the hype and it got to them. IN buffalo not happnening. In philly I'd have sided otherwise.
Buffalo moneyline.

Eagles to show Buffalo, they are who we thought they are... no short spread here... just a case of a struggling team vs better than avg at home, team...

I'm thinking this should've been Bills - 6 or 7, then everyone would be on Phily and Vegas doesn't want that! Phily - 3 for me.
