Eagles shopping Kolb?

Just read that the Eagles are entertaining offers for K.Kolb as I speak. If they are placing their future success in Vick's hands they are nuts. He will get injured as much as he runs out of the pocket. Mobility is nice but you have to be able to stand in the pocket throw the ball. Andy Reid has lost his mind if they get rid of Kolb. I know it's not strictly his decision. Maybe they will trade him for a semi-truck full of junk food and more drugs for his 2 sons.

where in the heck did u read that the eagles are shopping kolb.

they arent dumb. they arent trading away a young QB with 2 years left on his contract.

the vick move is the right move. an old superstar QB playing like a superstar QB in a division right now that is up for grabs.

andy reid was right. if you put kolb back in right now, he would have to play the next couple of games lights out and perfect or you would have people calling for his head. it's not the right situation for a young QB coming of a concussion to be in. it is actually putting him in a situation to fail.

starting Vick is the right decision. especially in a divison that right now is struggling.

also with the Eagles O-Line problems, Kolb will get absolutely lit up right now as a stationery target. Vick can at least manuerve and make plays with his feet. that is also a big big difference.

if Vick plays amazing this year. the eagles sign him to an extension and they have a star QB for the next couple of years. if he shits the bed, then you play Kolb as the starter for good the next year with an old vet QB backup and kafka as third string.

no need to overanalyze it or think kolb is getting traded today.

we will trade kolb for patrick willis or revis.

It makes no sense to shop much less trade Kolb. For starters, he has no trade value, or at best his trade value is at his lowest. We are only 2 games into the season, and they may need both to make any noise. I think IF they trade anyone, it would be Vick as Reid has a massive hard on for Kolb.

I didn't say they should start Kolb right now with his concussion problem. My thread started off by saying they were entertaining ideas to trade Kolb.

Philadelphia Eagles hear from several teams about Kevin Kolb, source says - ESPN

Story on ESPN explaining that teams have called in regards to Kolb according to a team official, which was prob expected. Pretty interesting that when asked if Kolb would be traded only thing Andy Reid had to say was, "Listen, I can't predict anything down that far; nobody in this league can do that." Doesnt really inspire confidence for Kolb's situation going forward with the Eagles if you ask me.

After Philadelphia Eagles coach Andy Reid named Mike Vick his starter for this week’s road game against Jacksonville, he won’t dismiss the idea that Kevin Kolb could be traded ahead of the league’s Oct. 19 trade deadline.

add him to the list of 2nd round quarterbacks who arent the studs teams thought they were....Kellen Clemons, Tavaris Jackson, John Beck......those picks didnt set a franchise back, the teams just went and found better options......
