Early money line play for week 9

TENNESSEE +170

My opinion on the Titans dismal performance this year I rest squarely on the play of Kerry Collins. He has been pathetic. No Vince Young fan here personally, but I think that there are many QBs could have revived this teams potential to be a contender this year, if only they had made the move to bench Collins sooner.

49ers just lost Joe Staley, one of their starting tackles to a broken leg. One of the usual back-ups to the defensive line that plays virtually every game, Demetric Evans is also expected to miss the next two games with a shoulder injury. These are huge problems for San Francisco and the injury to Staley is an indicator that they will lose this next home game.

Good luck all...

vince young opens up titans running game more then anything else, teams have to play the boot leg which is extremely efficent in holding the back side, chris johnson showed us this last week and i think the trend continues keep vince young to 15-20 pass attempts a game and the titans will be hard to beat from here on out

love the ML play but ill will be a puss and run with the points

I see the 49ers winning by 10 plus. Vince Young will have to win the game with his arm because the 49ers run D is strong. Don't like Vince's chances of doing that.

You do know both of the 49er starting tackles are out, right? Also Tennessee has one of the best running games in the league and we saw what that can mean last week in Arizona if they start running down hill. Vince Young just needs to keep the clock moving by not hitting the ground with his passes. Titans arent as bad as their record and thats indicative by this line. Tennessee matches up pretty well here. GL

You have to remember that no matter how good San Francisco is, even the best teams lose games. That is why we must look at each game without being influenced in our thinking by other games, and I think that is where most gamblers go wrong. They think the better team is always the better bet, and that is not the proper way to handicap any particular game itself. We are only looking at this one game and we are only betting on this one game.

KVB tears SF's O-line apart in absence of Staley, Tenn ML is the way to go!
and if they double up KVB, goodluck trying to stop Jason Jones
All the signs point to taking Tennessee spread and ML
Proline spread gives you -5.5 for SF..

Im all over the ML for titans

Something sad to be added to the conversation is the story line of Alex Smith's career. All bad luck, and now just when he gets his starting QB job back, the offensive line becomes depleted by injuries.

alex smith, frank gore, crabtree, bruce and davis tear up the very weak titans defense and force vince to win the game... not gonna happen even though the niners are banged up. Willis will be all over CJ. And like San Fran at home after a tough loss to a great team on the road.

Niners win easily IMO
