Ending career with raiders ?

Feeling a bit sorry for McNabb about now. Raiders are now taking a serious look at him. They should change the name of this team to the grave yard team. No team has killed this much talent. Weither you like McNabb or not you have to feel sorry for him as he will be going to a team with no real WR. The offensive line is horrible and McNabb is no spring chicken. When you get to this point in your career you should be given more choices. McNabb would most likely rather drive off a cliff then go to the raiders. Sure he will say he will play where ever but we all know he must be at a church praying they don't trade him. McNabb deserves better

Its not out of the question. I have always like McNABB as I stated they are trying to go young now and they need to see what Kolb has.

if the eagles trade mcnabb before his bonus is due, its submission to not competing this year and calling it a rebuild

signs already there or they would be getting more offensive weapons for mcanbb

personally think most philly fans are ignorant at worst or have unrealistic expectations at best

hes been an all pro qb who hasnt quite brought home the lombardy, same can be said for many good even great qbs

kolb wont amount to much IMO, at best not as good as mcnabb

How are we ignorant when we live in the city and see everydown the guy plays. I guess the Iggles are ignorant also as they are the ones making the trade not the fans. McNABB is one of my favorite players he is also a QB who consistently underachieves in big spots. His accuracy on the short pass id horrid and cannot hit a receiver in stride. I think Kolb will be a good qb and it is time to move on now.

philly fans in general, not you or anybody on this site

could just be the minority of fans im speaking of, but the most vocal

im talking about the fans who have wanted him out for quite some time now, the quotes you hear on philly talk radio

not just now, it might be time to move on, but IMO you wont get better than the last decade with McNabb

I am a Philly fan in General though Rome lol. I know where ur coming from many fans have wanted him out since they called his name at the draft. I do agree that McNABB is and prob will be the best QB the Iggles have ever had and I for one dis not call for him to go until the end of this year. A change to a team like AZ or SF maybe better for him also. If he is here next year great if not I hope he goes off and wins an SB cuz the guy is a class act and has given Iggle fans 11 good solid years. Could they have been better absolutely but that burden also falls on the FAT MAN Reid who I would rather se go than McNabb. He is the real problem behind the failures of the Iggles

for all the praise the eagles front office gets for not overpaying players, knowing value etc...

I think they are partly to blame for all of it

that includes not winning a superbowl, yet staying competitive for so many years, they are to blame for both

its a great achievement to stay competitive and perform consistently for such a long period

but at the same time to win it all you have to take chances sometimes

U maybe a closet iggle fan romo u said exactly what everyone here in philly has been saying. The iggles are more concerned with winning the salry cap super bowl than the real one. They are 30mil under right now and if they trade mcnabb they will be 45 mil under. I would take an sb a 5-6 of futility after that just win one damn sb thats all and they shouldve had atleast 1 in the mcnabb era. Shouldve been the year the bucs came in here and beat them

Wish the Steelers would have made a bid to get McNabb. After all Ben may be to busy picking up trash in the local bars.
