is everyone and their mom on carolina tomorrow?

I've looked through the site, scouted everyones picks, and out of about 25 posts, 23 of those people are on carolina tomorrow. (ats -4)
the lines ive seen range from -3.5 to -4, but -4 is the most common. the ML is -235. ive been looking at this as i also like carolina coming off of their bye week, rested and all. theres also the prediction by many that de angelo will be a "man posessed". just wanted to shoot this idea out and see you guys' thoughts. Im just hoping this week the public doesnt get smashed, because this seems like a big public play.

im loving carolina as well and am on the verge of betting them big. i just would like to see some more opinions. thank you, and gl this week to everyone at the mall with your picks.

some interesting stats, direct quote from redskins.com, one of the articles...
"Washington and Carolina have played nine times in the regular season, with the Redskins owning a 7-1 series lead.

Seven of the eight Redskins-Panthers games have been decided by four points or less.

The Redskins won the most recent meeting, on Nov. 26, 2006, by a 17-13 score at FedExField.

It was a taut, defensive struggle most of the game, but the Redskins finally broke through in the fourth quarter when Jason Campbell--making his second NFL start--and Chris Cooley connected on a 66-yard touchdown pass.

In the game’s final minutes, the Panthers had two opportunities to score. Sean Taylor tackled wide receiver Drew Carter on fourth down to end one drive, then intercepted a deep pass from quarterback Jake Delhomme to end the game.

Carolina’s lone victory against Washington in the regular season came in 2003 at Bank of America Stadium where they won 20-17 on a last-minute touchdown by former Redskin Stephen Davis."

Redskins tend to keep themselves in games. Just don't think 4 points is enough.

You very well could be right, not like the Panthers are world beaters this year.

Plus, nothing pisses me off more than losing money on a game that involves the Redskins, whether I'm for or against. Probably a pass for me.
