San Diego at New England


The bang-up San Diego Chargers will attempt to beat the unblemished New England Patriots, but no one has so far. San Diego is dangerous opponent with a talented defense and a forceful pass rush that could harass Brady and troops. Even so, the Patriots don’t have any apparent weak points and will move ahead to the Super Bowl in Arizona. However, they haven’t been a profitable bet. “Where’s the Money” New England is 1-6 ATS in its last 7 games, 1-4 ATS in its last 5 at home. Meanwhile, the Chargers have won and covered the spread in their last 8 games. New England is by far the better team, but a double-digit dog in a very possible close Championship clash is the smart choice. Double-digit underdogs are 5-0 ATS in the last five Championship games.

New York Giants (12-6) at Green Bay Packers (14-3)


The frozen Tundra will be exactly that brutal, wind chill factor 20 below. New York’s defense could have problems pressuring Favre in these conditions, a key component to beating the Packers. Green Bay is tough at home, 8-1 at Lambeau Field this season, 7-1-1 ATS and New York is a great road team, 8-1 both straight-up and against the spread. This clash could go either way, tough games to choose. The Giants led by Manning are playing sound. But when the G-Men butts are iced over,it's good to go with Favre. Green Bay has won four of the last five meetings, 4-1 ATS.
IMO-it don't make too much difference,Green Bay is as much vulnerable in the cold as the Giants..With the hook(from my local),the 7.5 is worth looking at....
