Farve enjoying the attention once again.

Don't even try and tell me that Farve doesn't know if he is coming back yet. This guy is an attention whore and by now he knows if he can play another full season. Can not wait until this guy is gone from the NFL. No reason why he can't let his team know what his plan is. Its been over a month since he played in a game. Putting himself above the team once again.

Favre still wants to compete. However, he has played for 20 years and wants his time off. If he says he's coming back now, then he's expected to be at all the off season functions. He has earned this luxury.

Farve was cleared of having to show up at all off season functions last year. He also does not have to show up for the early practices. So I don't feel your statement above holds water.

Favre can do what he wants so quit your bitchin a moaning.

He has all the leverage and rightfully so.

I would do the same thing too because he is a hot commodity.

I love how a guy can earn the right to hold his team at bay. Its all about Farve and nothing else.

you mean the same teams that cut their franchise superstars at the drop of a hat?

see LT and Westbrook.

The NFL teams deserve to get it stuck in their backside every now and then too.

Favre just has the biggest cock on the block

He has earned the luxury to take time off. I will go back to saying, if he says hes coming back now he's expected to be at all the offseason functions. He has to let his body recover fully from this season, then slowly begin training for next. If his body is up for it in late July, early August. The Vikings will know.

I don't think he is really screwing the Vikings over if he waits this long. He brought the organization one game from the Superbowl. They will go at practices as if the 2nd stringer (im guessing its still Jackson) will start, then just plug Favre back in there if he decides to come back. When a player with Favre's emotion, persistence, veteran leadership at qb, and athletic stature pops into an offense it is not hard to just adapt your playbook and strategy around him. Im sure he still has no clue on 50% of Childress' playbook from last year, he just used his natural abilities to get through the season.

Actually the biggest reason they don't care if he goes to the offseason camp is because he knows the offense so well. He was running this offense before Childress was coaching it. If anything he allows Childress to use more of his playbook where he has to downsize it for Jackson.

Steel, you are right he probably knows but what value does he get out of saying if he is staying or going. Then if he changes his mind he gets hammered. The team isn't going to do anything different whether he comes back or not.

The funny thing is you bitch constantly about Favre but every chance you get you are starting or commenting in a thread about him.
