Farve getting special treatment ?

Does it seem to anyone else that the NFL is dragging their feet to get anything done about Brett sending classless emails to Sterger ? As the season is coming closer to the end Sterger came has been making her voice louder and louder. Now she comes out with, " I want the NFL to do something before the end of the regular season". The NFL can hand out fines in 2 days but they can't get to the bottom of this one in weeks ? Special treatment once again by GODdell and his egotistical buddies. Have to believe that if this was someone like Mike Vick he would be suspended already. NFL needs to make everyone play by the rules and hold ALL players accountable. Either way Sterger wins.

Ndamukong Suh was flagged for a personal foul for a hit on Bears quarterback Jay Cutler on Sunday,

Now the league office has weighed in, confirming that it believes Suh crossed the line by fining him $15,000.

Should not have been a flag, let alone now a fine.........................

sterger didn't help herself out by not cooperating right away. seemed like she was holding out for settlement and then when that didn't come decided to meet with the NFL. Didn't think Favre was ever going to get suspended over something like this. Only player I could see getting any suspension over something like this would be Big Ben because of his past.

could honestly give a shit about favre and the whore, he didnt hurt anyone except maybe his wife but her life isnt so bad

i dislike favre for several reasons but the fact he is a heterosexual male isnt one of them, nfl has bigger problems than infidelity amongst a player

Does anyone think the league has the balls to suspend Favre in what I am sure his is last season??

I for one, believe if anything they will fine him maybe $25,000 and that is it. OR, he will say after this week he can't play anymore, gets put on IR & that will be basically code for him being suspended the rest of the year.

Call me a conspiracy theorist, but I don't believe for a second Goddell & his cronies will suspend the iron man.

This whole episode belongs in the long list of double standards the NFL has

They want a hard hitting tackle football game but now have decided there's only one right way to hit a guy

Likewise they want cheerleaders, and sideline reporters wearing inappropriate outfits but can't seem to resolve the fact that when a girl wears those things she gets hit on, and is working for their league

Honestly, who doesn't love the NFL but it is getting too big, too valuable to the point where the owners are more worried about CYA than putting up a good product. It will only get worse from here, until one day soon they "test" the idea of flag football, or something of the like.

Suspending Favre here hurts the Vikings not the Jets, and taking 2 years to bring up charges and releasing them conveniently before the Vikings Jets game absolutely reeks of sabotage intended to harm the Vikings season and Favre in particular.

how and when the charges were brought up should be investigated moreso than what actually happened. Someone wanted Favre's head, and tried to use this to get it.

And that person, whomever it is, is on the Jets. Because they were the ones trying to benefit from the announcement.

Spin it how ever you want Romo. Its about holding people accountable and playing by the rules that everyone has to play by. Will the NFL hold him accountable for this and do they have the sack to kick him out of the NFL before he retires ?
I might ask you why did it bother you when Ben raped 2 women. Ah thats right your obsessed with Ben now I get it.
