Fear not about the upcoming nfl season..

There is already light at the end of the tunnel.. 70 "mid-tier" players already want a seat at the table... These guys know the value of a buck... Have a limited shelf life for the most (3 to 5 yrs).. These guys cant ever recoup monies lost in a drawn out strike.. Wont be around long enough to recoup the loss.. Plain and simple IMO unlike last strike when the mim was 77,000 this time with the mim around 300,000 its just to much MONEY on the table for players with mortgages (instead of apts like last strike) to miss ANY paydays.. For both sides its just unreal the cash on the table and the owners (IMO who should make a good buck after all they invested in a product that was not always a cash cow) will give but in the end its 300,000 dollars a year .. Aint many jobs out there anywhere for that.. Last strike players could pic up bartending jobs and make 77,000.. CASH TALKS ...

So far this draft has been played brilliantly by Tomlin/Colbert.

1st they fooled most everyone with the Mike Pouncey talk. Probably got him overdrafted in the process. But all the while, they were really covering up their look at Marcus Gilbert who makes a lot more sense to me. He was pouceys best friend at Fla to boot,6 6' 330, 30 SEC games started, a road gradder The Steelers need tackles for the long term. Guards can be found anywhere. And in the end they got one of the DEs to drop who they were targeting in the 1st. a local legend at that who already owns a terrible towel.

Then they had everyone believing they were looking to take Aaron Williams in the 1st round who is better suited at saftey. That was another cover for Curtis Brown who is a much more talented cover corner. And coverage in the slot is what we desperately need. I had a feeling Brown was the guy we sent everyone to Texas to really look at.

So far, nicely played. Keep it going.
