Final thoughts, picks and thread for SBowl

sorry if I started too many threads as I already had one just thinking about taking the cards + 7 then I had one stating that I was playing Pitt over 26.5- so here is it my FINAL thread and official picks for this season
first of all I had a similar regular season this year in the NFL as I did last year but my playoffs have been much better this year.

NFL Regular season 39-23
Playoffs 6-1
Double Plays 10-3
my teasers - bowls picks - and college picks were basically an ugly 50%

For today
official picks

Pittsburgh Over 26.5
Field goals Over 3.5
Cards + 7

As I mentioned earlier , I have quite a few teasers alive and also placed a small wager on Pitt to win it all a month or so ago- so I did hedge that with a teaser today on the cards and Illinois in hoops

Two reasons to play the Cards + 7 :
One is that it really could be a good close game all the way through. Warner has better wr's than Pitt and Ward being hurt is not good for Pitt. If Warner does not get hit and fumble they will be in the game. Pitt's OLine seems to get Big Ben hit often and its possible that he may not even play the whole game as he gets hit too many times
Second reason to take the Cards + 7 is that I can see them scoring a last second meaningless back door cover to bring the game down from a 10-13 deficit to a 3-6 point game right at the end.

Only one reason to play Pitt- they are the better team, or so I we have all been told.

two reasons is more than one so ....

31-26 final score thus my pick is a very shaky Cards plus the 7.

well, I got very fortunate with the Illinois teaser today - had em at minus 7.5 and they never led by 8 basically until the final gun- so now I have a decent middle from pitt- 1 to Az + 12.5
