First Post: Thinking Of Playing A 1k 7 Team Parlay

First off just wanted to say I've been lurking this forum for a very long time and I have to say it is one of the best, if not the best, forum on the internet.

I know this is a very very risky move on my part, especially since I'm playing all public favorites. But I just got back from Casino Rama and I'm up over 1K for the session and I'm really thinking of playing a 7 team parlay with my winnings. Anyways, here are the plays I'm thinking of making (all money line):

Indy
Balt
Miami
Buffalo
Tampa
Giants
Jets

1K will give me a payout of about $8,500. Now if I lose it won't hurt me financially...What do you guys think?

Thanks for the welcome.

Yeah I know its a long-shot and a very risky play.

Check out this 15 teamer I played today . I though I'd get a push with South Carolina when they had that last drive where, I believe, they were inside the 20 of Clemson and Smelly threw a pick.

And St Bonaventure lost by 2...

First off thank you all for your input I really appreciate it.

Also, I appreciate the fact that you guys didn't start bashing me with this parlay because I know if I posted this thread on any other forum that's what would have happened.

I actually really like the round robin idea. What do you guys suggest I go with if I only want to wager $500 on the round robin (2's, 3's, 4's, 5's 6's....2's, 3's ect)?

Thanks again if I can make at least a profit of 5K this weekend I'll see if a mod will let me have some kind of contest or something just to show my appreciation.

~ A 4 Team Rr Of 23&4's At 50 Will Cost Ya 550

~a 5 Team Rr Of 2&3's At 25.00 Each Is All Your Going To Get For 500

~ 5 Team 3's &4's At 50 Will Cost Ya 750

Just Remember Parlays Will Eventually Drain Ya.... But Like Myself Every Now And Then I'll Try A Round Robin Or A Super Duper Parlay For A Big Payoff....what Ever You Decide Best Of Luck

Personally, Indy is the one I would cut out, but most of all I just agree that you should cut it down to the four or five games that you feel the best about. Think about when you wager on games, how often do ya get seven in a row right. Better than a lottery ticket though, and moneyline faves are probably good idea with a 3 or more team parlay.

Hey Entourage, I have been doing parlays ever since I have started and IMO they are trouble. You are better of doing 3 team parlays. 7 team parlays are way too risky IMO. I'd hate to say this but if you do that 7 team parlay, I would put a grand on the fact that you wont go 7/7. The odds are really low. Parlays are very tempting and I do them often, but they are a nuisance. You are better off doing a round robin.

Just my 2 cents, Best of luck to you!
