Exclamation First Tebow now Flynn

The US sports media way overacts to a few decent performances.
I've said it many times on this forum, judge an athlete or team over the long run, nothing more nothing less.

I don't think Flynn coverage will come even remotely close to Tebow's, but really he should be a bigger story.

Based on what 2 performances in 2 years?

He may turnout to be a decent QB. But judging a player so highly and with so much vigour, on two performances is ridiculous.

No just comparing him/tebow. I think his performance at least deserves a little press... unlike Tebow's.

Fair enough. I agree that he deserves a little/some, press. But he's getting much more than a little from what I listen to and read. Again an overhype based only on a few performances.
I'm not just picking on the US media, other parts of the world can be just as ridiculous. Best example, Steve Donald comes on in the rugby world cup final this year plays not bad for 40 mins not great either. Suddenly he's a hero to the nation, based on 40 minutes in a big game. Forgeting all of a sudden the rest of his career over 8 years......To me, I judge him on his career. Below average All Black.

Yea... I haven't been watching much SC or any ESPN lately really so I wouldn't know. I agree about how quick media jumps on people... specially QB's. Hell a few of their hosts were actually apologizing for their coverage of Tebow after he got smacked by the Patriots, and then KC... I think a lot of people got upset about the Tebow coverage so you were not alone that is for sure.

The Tebow mania was off the charts based on sub-par performance. Flynn has had two monster performances at the NFL level. I'll take Flynn as my QB over Tebow any day.

Flynn is like Schaub a few years ago. Gets some press because the media likes to talk about where he could land. Absolutely nothing like the Tebow coverage.

yeah can't compare the coverage.
I do believe he'll get coverage like Kolb did though in the offseason but this time he'll be more worth it.
Been saying for some time I do believe he could be a starter. How good of a starter is yet to be seen but he's earned his opportunity.

Oh please. Tebow's college run shadows Flynn's.

And Flynn has a ring? Ya, holding the clipboard for Rodgers. Whoopdeefukkindoo.

tebow has the worst completion percentage since 2000 of any quarterback to start at least 10 games....................that was with some huge windows.....
