Former NFL Player Kevin Ware Arrested
A former professional football player finds himself behind bars facing escape charges.
Police say 29 year old kevin ware was arrested early sunday morning on washington avenue.
Investigators say ware was intoxicated and was arrested for assault when he tried to escape from a houston police officer.
The former washington red skins and san francisco 49'ers player is charged with misdemeanor escape.
Court records show ware is still in the harris county jail.
