MORNING GAME
GREEN BAY PACKERS VS. DETROIT LIONS i am playing green bay huge and the over in this game..... In their first meeting the pack silenced the lions 26-0 .... Imo this will be a shootout as matt stafford will get his first taste of green bay off his huge game last week... The lions recently have been horrible on thanksgiving day against anyone except the green bay packers.... They have lost 5 straight scoring 10 points (08), 10 pts (06), 7 pts (05), 9 pts (04).... But against the packers they have scored 26 pts in (07) and had a su win with 22 points in (03)..... I dont think the scoring is going to change tomorrow as detroits defence gives up close to 400 yards per a game (31st) and is the nfls worse allowing 275 yards passing... Green bay on the other hand ranks 7th in both catagories from the offense side of the ball.... Many will think ryan grant will have a bigger game than the earlier meeting but i think with te jermichael finley back in the lineup, it gives rodgers more tools to unleash their strong passing game.... I dont think stafford will back down either after last weeks performance.... Grant it it was against the cleveland browns but 5 tds is 5 tds no matter who it is.... With al harris and aaron kampman hurt last week, i expect matt to throw again....this game will be a tale of 2 qbs and a bunch of receptions by many players..... Wake up game to bring excitement for your thanksgiving feast FINAL SCORE PACKERS 41 LIONS 24 10***** GREEN BAY -10.5 10***** OVER 47.5 AFTERNOON GAME OAKLAND RAIDERS VS DALLAS COWBOYS what a game to put right after the gb/det game ..... Are u fricken kidding me..... Well i will tell you what.... For as boring as both teams have been and the expectations some thought or are still thinking about both of these teams, i have this conclusion..... This will actually be a very entertaining game.....the new qb change in oakland brought some life to thier offense and with the short week it can continue or hurt that momemtum..... I shouldnt be messing around with the total with the way dallas offense has played lately.... But im going to take a chance and play the over on this total due to dallas being americas team on national tv with everyone watching.... Im going to excuse last weeks 1 td performance due to it being the 3rd straight division game coming off b2b road division games with philly and gb... I am going to give dallas the opportunity to show i am correct about last weeks game as they have averaged 32 points at home before that game.... But something seems a little fishy with this game at 14 points and the total being 39.5-40 .... Thats saying the raiders will only score 1 td....im figuring the raiders will have 3 chances to score in this game... Is vegas that good to make the score 27-13 .... I think the raiders score more than 20 in this game for the first time this season and what dallas does is antbody guess..... If their is one fishy game on the card today ...this one is it...... FINAL SCORE ( gulp ) RAIDERS 23 COWBOYS 21 10****** OAK/DAL OVER 39.5 2*** MONEYLINE OAKLAND (+625) EVENING GAME N.Y. GIANTS VS. DENVER BRONCOS this game is going to be about defense..... The broncos defense will have to stop the running game no matter what and let their defensive backs go heads up with the giants young recievers..... Everyone has considered the broncos done already, but i dont think they are yet..... Thier defense has just been on the field way too long for them to have any chance but i believe they can go toe to toe with this giants team which imo really isnt that good of a team as many people think...sure they have one of the top defenses and their offense ranks in the top ten in most catagories....but the fact remains the giants have lost 4 of their last 5 games and are 0-5 ats in that stretch with dallas and philly waiting ahead.... The short week isnt going to help especially with the overtime game last sunday against atlanta.... Denver altitude will have an effect imo for a late evening game.....not to mention that all new york teams have struggled scoring on thanksgiving day since the early namath days.... With that being said i will be playing the home team who has played on thanksgiving 3 times this decade winning twice.... FINAL SCORE BRONCOS 26 GIANTS 13 10***** DENVER +6.5 5*** UNDER 42 5** MONEYLINE DENVER (+230) everyone have a safe and blessed thanksgiving holiday ...... Enjoy the games !!! A quick Q -- Was it you that in years past talked about how on Thanksgiving day the books like to give the players a few wins leading up to a slaughter on the weekend? If that was you, I remember you saying take the faves on Thursday and the dogs on Sunday. Was that you?

There is also reports now of calvin johnson will play which only furthers my interest in stafford playing.... Regardless of who starts ( duante culpepper or stafford ) i still stand firm on my plays
